The successful candidate will deliver engaging, standards-based instruction aligned with the New York State Science Learning Standards and foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports the academic and social-emotional growth of all students. General Responsibilities - Plan and implement effective science instruction for middle school students (grades 7–8)
- Develop lesson plans aligned with NYS Science Learning Standards
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs
- Incorporate hands-on, inquiry-based learning experiences and laboratory activities
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust instruction accordingly
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom and laboratory environment
- Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and guardians
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school activities

Communicate regularly with students, families, and school staff regarding progress and expectations. -
Support students with diverse learning needs and implement accommodations as required. -
