Description:
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Speech and Language Teacher to provide services for approximately six weeks at the high school level. The successful candidate will work with students with a range of disabilities, providing speech and language therapy in accordance with IEP goals and supporting students’ communication development in an educational setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students with diverse learning needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and related service providers
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Participate in team meetings as needed

The Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District is seeking a Doctoral-Level School Psychologist to support students’ academic, social-emotional, and behavioral development across the district’s secondary schools. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with administrators, teachers, counselors, and families to provide comprehensive psychological services that promote student success and well-being.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive psychoeducational and behavioral evaluations
  • Providing counseling and crisis intervention services for students
  • Supporting students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Collaborating with building teams on intervention planning and implementation
  • Participating in CSE meetings and developing recommendations for appropriate supports and services
  • Consulting with teachers, staff, and families regarding behavioral and mental health strategies
  • Assisting in the development and monitoring of behavior intervention plans
