  1. Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student based on their unique needs and goals.
  2. Plan and deliver differentiated instruction that aligns with the curriculum and adapts to various learning styles and abilities.
  3. Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage students and facilitate their understanding of the material
  4. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and respect.
  5. Implement effective behavior management strategies to promote a safe and productive learning atmosphere.
  6. Monitor and document student behavior and progress, addressing any issues promptly and appropriately.
  7. Work collaboratively with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, school psychologists, speech therapists, and other specialists to support student learning and development.
  8. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress, address concerns, and involve them in the educational process.
  9. Participate in CSE meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other relevant school events.
  10. Conduct formal and informal assessments to evaluate student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
  11. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance, attendance, and IEP documentation.

  • Use lectures, videos, worksheets, and textbooks to teach students about driving laws, decision-making, and defensive driving techniques 
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback on areas for improvement

  • Create lesson plans, assignments, and curriculum for each student, and ensure they meet state guidelines
  • Provide direct and indirect instruction to students in a variety of settings, including at home, in a classroom, or in a library
  • Prepare students for required assessments, and conduct formal and informal assessments of student progress
  • Create a positive environment, and meet students' individual needs
  • Help students reach their educational goals, and mentor them
  • Communicate concerns with administration and/or school teacher
