  1.  Implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student based on their unique needs and goals.
  2. Plan and deliver differentiated instruction that aligns with the curriculum and adapts to various learning styles and abilities.
  3. Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage students and facilitate their understanding of the material
  4. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and respect.
  5. Implement effective behavior management strategies to promote a safe and productive learning atmosphere.
  6. Monitor and document student behavior and progress, addressing any issues promptly and appropriately.
  7. Work collaboratively with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, school psychologists, speech therapists, and other specialists to support student learning and development.
  8. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress, address concerns, and involve them in the educational process.
  9. Participate in CSE meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other relevant school events.
  10. Conduct formal and informal assessments to evaluate student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
  11. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance, attendance, and IEP documentation.

  4. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and respect.

  • Collaborate with grade-level and department colleagues to ensure consistency in curriculum and instruction.

  • Communicate regularly with students, families, and school staff regarding progress and expectations.

  • Support students with diverse learning needs and implement accommodations as required.

  • Fulfill standard professional responsibilities, including attending meetings, supervising activities, and contributing to the school community.

  • Create lesson plans, assignments, and curriculum for each student, and ensure they meet state guidelines
