Qualifications:
- Valid New York State Certification as a Reading Teacher (Grades 7–12) required
- Dual Certification in any of the other following areas is highly desired:
- ELA (7-12)
- Special Education (7-12)
- Certification or training in the Orton-Gillingham approach is highly desired
- Experience with multisensory reading instruction
- Familiarity with data-driven instruction and progress monitoring tools
- Strong knowledge of adolescent literacy development and intervention strategies
